Although venue coordinators and independent wedding planners have overlapping responsibilities, a reputable venue will have an on-site coordinator dedicated to managing tasks such as venue logistics, staffing, service, and food and beverage. At Tie the Knot Cyprus, our expert wedding planner will seamlessly orchestrate every aspect of your special day, from selecting the ideal venue and sharing advice to coordinating with suppliers and creating the perfect schedule for your special day.  

Unlike tour operators, hotels, or venues, an independent wedding planner offers a more personalized service. We work for you, not the venue, so our main focus is making your dream wedding a reality. We have no bias towards any specific venue, and can help you find the perfect one for your special day.

Ideally, we recommend booking your independent Cyprus wedding planner before booking your venue , so you get to know each other from the very early stages working closely with you, to find that perfect venue.  As our client, you will be our top priority, and we will go above and beyond to make your wedding dreams a reality.

Will Tie the Knot Cyprus assist us with documents?

Absolutely! Our planner will provide you with a comprehensive step-by-step guide well in advance, and we are always available to answer any questions you may have. Before you depart for sunny Cyprus, we will ensure that all your paperwork is in order. We will even accompany you to your appointment at the Town Hall to apply for your wedding license, and take care of all the post-wedding legalities. Rest assured, we have you covered. 

Do we have to choose from your suppliers and can we book our own?

Tie the Knot Cyprus has established connections with the best wedding vendors in Cyprus. While we have preferred vendors we trust, you are welcome to arrange some suppliers yourself, please be aware that doing so will place the responsibility of coordinating payments and arrangements solely on you. This decision may also result in added stress and workload as the event approaches. Please keep in mind that Tie the Knot cannot be held accountable for any potential issues or dissatisfaction that may arise from independently booked suppliers. 

Here at Tie the Knot we’re dedicated to providing a seamless and stress-free planning experience, which is why we require suppliers, such as photographers, videographers, decor & DJ’s, to be booked through us and be one of our approved and trusted suppliers. If there is a specific supplier that you would like to work with, please discuss this with me prior to booking my services. I have carefully curated a list of reputable and reliable suppliers who are already approved at all our venues. It is my priority to ensure that everything runs smoothly on your special day, and I have full confidence in the professionalism of my approved suppliers. 

When couples opt to book their own suppliers, their behaviour and service still reflect on us as the planner. We have worked hard for over 10 years to build our 5-star reputation, and would be disappointed if your guests formed a negative opinion of our company due to the actions of an outside supplier.

Absolutely!  We always like to highlight the importance of having wedding insurance in place. No matter where in the world your wedding takes place, it’s always a good idea to have insurance to protect yourself and your wedding related items, such as your dress, rings, suits and any unexpeced vendor or venue issues that might occur.
